3mm graphite shim for F103 and F103GT tuning

The F103GT-25/SG graphite 3mm shim motor mount plate is built as a thin, stiff spacer to adjust motor location on Tamiya F103 and F103GT cars. It allows incremental shifts of the motor relative to the stock mount without changing the original mount layout.

To fit, slide the 3mm graphite shim between the motor casing and the mount, retain the existing fasteners and then verify pinion-to-spur engagement after securing. As a passive shim, ensure there is clearance for motor leads and adjacent gearbox parts before finishing the build.

When dialing in setup, this graphite shim is useful for small motor moves that improve gear engagement or alter weight distribution slightly. Use it in combination with standard gear alignment checks and bearing preload inspection.
