This radio tray is designed for the Tamiya F104 chassis using the BQC quick-connect layout and corresponds to part F104-20/LB. It gives a neat, compact platform to mount the servo and receiver so components stay organised inside the F104 bodywork.
Fitting is primarily mechanical: the tray locates the servo and receiver toward the centre of the chassis, supplies predefined screw points for standard F104 servo mounts, and provides room for antenna and power lead routing. Its role is to keep wiring tidy rather than alter electronics, helping to maintain a repeatable setup.
From a tuning angle the tray supports consistency. By locking the servo and receiver into repeatable positions it reduces setup variables when measuring suspension or steering adjustments, so you can focus on chassis tweaks without moving electronics each session.
