Rear assembly brief

The TF201C-005 rear steering block is a replacement hop-up produced to suit TAMIYA F201 chassis by 3Racing. It replaces the rear steering element and allows precise adjustment of rear steering geometry while leaving the main chassis intact. The component locates where the rear linkages attach and directly affects toe and steering feel at the rear axle.

Installation notes: take off the rear hub carrier and associated linkages, transfer over any bearings or original fasteners, then attach the block to the hub carrier with the original screws. Only light trimming of nearby plastic may be needed if factory tolerances differ; otherwise the piece installs using stock hardware. When reassembling, check for free play in the linkages and confirm smooth steering through the full travel.

Tuning role: intended as a tuning part to adjust rear steering geometry for scale racing setups. Minor changes in mounting position or orientation will change rear toe-in and transient response and will affect corner entry balance and stability mid-corner. Adjust in small steps and test on short runs to assess handling changes.

Compatibility and caution: designed for TAMIYA F201 layouts that have a rear steering block at these mounting points; always verify fitment against your current hub carrier before final assembly. This is a model accessory only, not for real vehicles.

In most cases yes, but confirm that mounting hole spacing and bearing bores align with your hub carrier before final tightening.
Reuse the original bearings and screws where possible to maintain factory fit; replacements are only needed if the originals are worn.
Change the block position in small increments, record each setting, and run controlled laps to compare corner entry and mid-corner behaviour before locking the setup.
