Lightweight aluminium universal shaft for FF02 setups

The FF02-04 aluminium universal shaft is a driveline upgrade intended for the Tamiya FF02 chassis. It replaces the standard plastic-style shaft with a single-piece aluminium unit while keeping the original mounting geometry intact.

Fitting is simple for those used to FF02 servicing: remove the factory shaft, inspect the cups and retaining pins, insert the aluminium shaft into the same cups, then check for free movement across suspension travel and steering angles. Use thread locker on any small fasteners to avoid loosening during running sessions.

As an upgrade the aluminium shaft reduces flex under load which can improve throttle feedback and promote steadier torque delivery to the outputs you use most. Expect incremental improvements that work well alongside other driveline or suspension tweaks.
