This front shock tower is an alloy upgrade built for the Tamiya Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher platforms. Finished in gun metal, it replaces the original plastic component to provide a stronger mounting location that reduces flex under load and keeps steering geometry stable.
Installation follows the usual removal and refit process: take off the stock tower, move over any spacers or top mounts, and fasten the new tower using the original hardware. Pay attention to screw engagement and use conservative torque values when tightening into metal to protect chassis threads.
As a tuning part, the tower gives a solid top-mount point for shocks and upper links, which helps maintain ride height and steering feedback when running stiffer springs or different damping setups on Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher buggies.
