This pair of steering links is an aftermarket replacement built for the Tamiya GF01 chassis, using spring steel tie rods with a built-in servo horn to swap out weaker plastic parts. The upgrade aims to increase mechanical resilience at the steering connection and reduce thread stripping during regular running.
Fitting is straightforward for experienced hobbyists: remove the stock linkage, attach the steel rods to the steering knuckles and servo arm, then secure with the original screws if they match. With the model resting on its wheels and steering neutral, perform final tightening to ensure free movement without binding.
For handling this component tightens steering feel and reduces play; after installation recheck toe and fine tune servo travel rather than altering link geometry unless you want to intentionally change steering characteristics.
