Upgrade dampers tailored to GF01 chassis

This aluminium front and rear damper pair is built for the Tamiya GF01 RC platform and supplied as a 1 pr set with plastic ball tops on each piston rod end. They act as scale suspension replacements intended to improve mechanical fit and give basic damping adjustment for GF01 models.

The dampers feature a machined aluminium outer tube to preserve bore consistency while the plastic ball tops interface with common GF01 ball studs. Replace the original shocks by transferring compatible springs and shafts and secure with the stock mounting hardware. Use standard shock oil and conventional assembly procedures during setup.

For tuning, these units affect rebound and compression within the GF01 suspension geometry. Tweak spring preload, swap oil weights, and vary damping length to suit handling and surface conditions, keeping in mind these components are sized for model use.

Specifications

  • Item: Aluminium Front/Rear Damper set - 1 pr
  • Material: Aluminium body with plastic ball top
  • Model Number: GPM ADP060
  • Compatibility: Tamiya GF01

After installation validate geometry and run progressive tests while adjusting oil and spring settings to find the best balance for your GF01 setup.

No special hardware is required; they are designed to use the standard GF01 mounting points and ball studs supplied on the kit.
Dry-fit shafts and springs to confirm travel and clearance, then apply chosen oil and bleed carefully before final assembly.
Aluminium bodies help keep bore roundness stable, which can improve consistency, but overall feel is set by oil and spring selection.
