This kit is created for the Tamiya GF-01 scale platform and combines a compatible 25T aluminium servo saver with machined aluminium tie rods to replace weaker plastic components. It aims to reduce steering slop and improve mechanical stiffness in crawler applications.
Fitting requires swapping out the stock servo saver and installing the aluminium saver onto the servo spline, then setting tie rod lengths to obtain neutral steering. Use common hand tools, check thread alignment, and do not over-torque fasteners.
On-road tuning note: aluminium linkages will transmit more feedback to the servo; verify the servo spline seats fully and adjust servo travel limits if higher load appears. This upgrade addresses mechanical accuracy rather than electronics.
