This item is an aluminium front shock tower made for the Tamiya GT-01 1/10 touring chassis, presented in a light blue anodized-look. It acts as the upper mounting point for the front shocks and associated suspension fixings, offering a stiffer surface than the original plastic part and aiding precise geometry control.

Installation typically reuses the original shock mounts and ball studs so the shock length and alignment are maintained. The tower installs between the shock absorbers and the bulkhead to provide consistent mounting for tuning changes.

When tuning, the tower helps with incremental changes to shock angles, roll centre and ride height via different mounting holes; it does not replace shocks or springs and should be integrated into a complete suspension setup plan.
