Aluminium steering assembly tailored for Hornet EVO

This aluminum steering assembly fitted with bearings is an aftermarket replacement intended for compatibility with the TAMIYA Hornet EVO (58742) chassis. Manufactured by JAZRIDER as model JR-THNE04-GU, it swaps in metal parts for the stock plastic steering to give firmer feedback and longer life.

The kit uses precision bearings at the steering pivots and a gun metal finish across the aluminum components. It functions as a direct-fit option when your Hornet EVO retains the original linkage geometry, and is specified for 1/10 scale buggy use only.

Fitting requires removing the original front steering linkage and refitting the JR-THNE04-GU assembly, taking care to check clearance at the servo horn and around suspension links. During the initial setup, adjust trim and linkage length so the new steering matches your servo travel and neutral position.

As part of routine maintenance and tuning, this aluminum assembly alters steering stiffness and should be used with regular bearing lubrication and periodic fastener checks. This item is for model use only and not for road vehicles.
