This aluminium rear underguard fits the TAMIYA Hornet EVO (58742) chassis and is produced to model JR-THNE03-BK specifications. The black anodised face offers a hard wearing contact surface where the stock plastic undertray is vulnerable to abrasion and impact.

Fitment utilises the Evo’s original rear mounting points and the same screw positions as the factory undertray, permitting straightforward swap-over without modifying the main chassis. When installing, verify hole alignment and consider thread-lock on steel screws for a secure fit; take care not to overtighten into adjacent plastic components.

Primarily a protective item, this underguard also contributes a small rise in rear torsional stiffness and helps spread impact loads. It is intended to increase durability during club racing and trail use rather than serve as a major performance upgrade.
