CW-01 compatible clamp hubs

These two clamp-type aluminum wheel hubs are produced for Tamiya CW-01 wheel mounting and suit vintage 1/10 buggy bodies like Hornet, Grasshopper, Frog, Lunch Box and Monster Beetle. The JR-LB07-LB hubs employ an aluminum clamp design that aims to stabilise the wheel-to-axle interface while remaining compact for stock CW-01 setups.

They are only compatible with the listed CW-01 pattern models; always confirm your wheel hex and axle stub sizes prior to fitting. The hubs are intended as direct-style replacements to match existing wheel hardware and mounting positions without changing suspension geometry.

Installation guidance: remove the stock hubs, check axle threads and wheel hex for wear, slide the clamp hub into position on the axle or hex seat, align so the wheel sits flush, and fasten using the original method. Apply appropriate torque for small RC fasteners and re-check for any binding or excessive runout.

Setup tips: clamp-style aluminum hubs can help maintain consistent wheel positioning during remounts and resist deformation more than thin pressed hubs. Verify wheel balance and runout after installation and tweak as needed when changing tyre or wheel combinations. These components are for scale RC CW-01 models and do not change steering or suspension geometry on their own.

Packing includes

  • Clamp-type aluminum wheel hubs - 2 pcs
If your model uses the CW-01 wheel mounting pattern they should fit; measure the wheel hex and axle stub to be sure before fitting.
The aluminum clamp construction offers improved rigidity and less deformation under load compared with thin pressed hubs, helping with repeatable wheel placement.
Use appropriate torque for small RC fasteners, inspect threads before use, and periodically check runout and balance after initial test runs.
