Reinforced gearbox couplers for Tamiya Hotshot models

These two steel gear box joints are supplied as a 2-piece set for RC Tamiya 4WDs and serve as direct-fit replacements for common gearbox coupling points. They are aimed at reducing wear on the drivetrain where original plastic couplers can deteriorate under use.

Ideal for maintenance or modest upgrades: swap the steel joints in when you discover play in couplers during inspection, or when prepping a car for regular off-road driving. The steel parts extend service life while maintaining the original mounting interfaces so handling and geometry remain unchanged.

Fitting notes: remove the gearbox cover, extract the worn coupler, seat the new steel joint into place, check mesh and clearances, and reassemble. After installation, rotate the drivetrain and fine-tune gear mesh if required. These components are for repair and tuning purposes and do not modify suspension or motor mount positions.
