This is an RC rear drive shaft and wheel axle set made to suit TAMIYA Hotshot chassis variants, designed to renew rear drivetrain function after wear or damage while allowing quick changes when tuning rear geometry on classic Hotshot layouts.
Fitting is carried out at the rear gearbox and hub joints, using the original mounting points on the Hotshot line. Remove the rear hub assembly and axle carrier to access the drive shaft, replace the component, then refit the hub hardware supplied with the chassis. No bespoke fabrication is required for the models listed.
Setup tip: as a direct-replacement item this kit helps correct axle alignment and endplay. After installation, inspect axle engagement, wheel hub clearance and the gear mesh between motor, spur and pinion to ensure proper operation.
