Overview of the bearing kit

This bearing set is intended for use with Tamiya M03, M03L, M04M and FF02 on-road models. The "2RS" identifier means each bearing includes seals to trap lubrication and block dust, allowing replacement of worn factory bearings to restore smooth operation in wheels, diffs and drive shafts.

Install the kit when you notice roughness, increased resistance or noise from rotating parts. Upgrading to sealed bearings reduces binding, evens out rolling behaviour and supports consistent handling during practice or club events.

Installation tips: press bearings straight into hubs, carriers and gearbox bores using a suitable driver or press. Avoid levering on the seal lips and confirm bearings rotate freely with acceptable endplay after installation.

Care and service: sealed 2RS units lower maintenance frequency compared with open bearings but still need occasional inspection. Replace any unit that shows rough spots, axial play or grease loss to keep drivetrain efficiency high.
