This rear shock tower serves as a replacement component for TAMIYA M05 chassis configurations and is supplied under part number M05-06L/LB. It locates the rear shock mounting points and interfaces with the existing rear bulkhead and suspension parts used on M05-style touring cars.
Use is confined to M05-class TAMIYA chassis per the model designation. The tower normally installs using the stock mounting holes and factory hardware; confirm correct alignment and thread engagement before final tightening. No specialised machining is required beyond routine hex tools.
From a setup perspective, the rear shock tower defines where the shocks sit, which affects roll centre and leverage. Experiment with different mounting holes and shock lengths to dial in handling, recording each change so you can revert if needed.
