This front arm set is manufactured for the TAMIYA M05/M06/MF-01X range and serves as a direct aluminium replacement for the original plastic parts. The goal is to reduce flex at the front end and deliver a more stable steering sensation during setup and use.
Fitting is simple on compatible TAMIYA layouts: remove the factory arms, confirm hinge pin alignment and ball cup orientation, then mount the aluminium arms to the existing points. Wherever possible keep the original chassis hardware, check suspension and steering travel for free movement, and ensure no contact with the servo horn after assembly.
In setup terms the stiffer arms limit unwanted movement compared to plastic, tightening steering feedback and helping geometry adjustments behave consistently. After changing toe, camber or roll centre re-check track alignment and test small shock or spring changes if the front becomes noticeably stiffer.
Care and service: look over the aluminium for dents or nicks after running, check hinge pins and ball cups for wear, and keep pivots clean and lightly oiled. Replace any worn hardware and resecure fasteners as part of ongoing maintenance.
