This machined Derlin 3-hole piston is an RC replacement designed to sit inside Tamiya M06 shock cartridges. The precise Derlin finish and three-port arrangement alter oil metering through the piston ports, which helps when dialing in damper response on track or during bench testing.

Fitment notes: installed as the internal valve in standard M06 shocks, the piston affects both compression and rebound characteristics but leaves outer shock geometry unchanged. Use it with suitable springs and oils to adjust handling in predictable steps.

Maintenance: handle like other shock internals, keep port openings clear of debris, and check the Derlin surface for wear at each service interval. Reassemble with correct piston orientation and confirm seals and shafts are undamaged to avoid leaks. Select shock oil viscosity to suit the piston porting.
