Precision M-07 Steering Knuckle

Made as an RC-scale upgrade for the TAMIYA M-07, this aluminum steering knuckle features a gun metal finish and is designed to replace the stock plastic part. The alloy construction is intended to reduce front-end flex and sharpen steering response during setup changes.

Fitment uses the original mounting points: remove the hub and old knuckle, move over bearings and any compatible hardware, then fasten the aluminum knuckle in place. After installation, check steering linkages and alignment to ensure correct toe and steering geometry.

When tuning, the knuckle offers a firmer pivot surface and more predictable steering under load when matched with correct bearings and suspension tuning. This product is an aftermarket accessory for scale RC use.

Does the JR-M701-GU change steering geometry?

The part itself keeps the stock mounting geometry, but its increased rigidity can alter steering feel. Recheck toe and ackermann after fitting to confirm handling.

Is corrosion a concern with the finish?

The gun metal finish offers basic protection, but avoid prolonged exposure to salt or moisture and clean the part after wet runs to prevent corrosion.

Will I need to change my wheel hexes?

If your current hex adapters seat into the knuckle bore without play, they can be reused. Verify fit and replace adapters if you see any slop.
