This front lower suspension mount is an RC hop-up built for the Tamiya M07 chassis, fitted with a 5 degree caster to shift front-end characteristics. It is a direct replacement for the factory lower link mount and intended for setup work where small geometry tweaks are evaluated.
The 5 degree caster moves the steering axis to affect turn-in behaviour and high-speed composure. Use this mount to refine front grip and centering without changing major suspension components. The part changes handling through geometry only, not through drivetrain or braking modifications.
Fitment is simple for those used to M07 front assemblies: remove the stock lower mount, position the hop-up in the same place, then secure items in the original sequence. After fitting, check toe and steering sweep, then run incremental setup changes on track to assess corner entry and balance.
Maintenance follows standard small-scale suspension practice: check fastening points after first runs and inspect for wear, making sure linkages move freely since caster changes can alter linkage angles.
