This aftermarket steel front and rear CVD shaft is produced for the TAMIYA M1025 Hummer platform and supplied as 1pr for RC-scale driveline use. It is intended as a direct-type driveshaft to replace typical plastic units when model builders want a metal option for increased service life in normal hobby operation.
Marked as 43mm and steel, the shaft transfers rotational force from the gearbox output to the wheel hubs in either front or rear positions on the M1025 chassis. When fitting, verify the drive cup mating, check hex and bearing condition, and align the shaft to ensure smooth rotation and to avoid premature part wear.
For maintenance treat these as simple durability upgrades: inspect for spline wear and straightness regularly, keep the spline interfaces lightly greased with suitable RC lubricant, and replace the shaft if spline engagement or straightness becomes compromised. The shaft primarily targets drivetrain reliability rather than altering vehicle performance numbers.
