Motor Plate Upgrade for TAMIYA MF01X

This aluminium motor plate is an aftermarket upgrade for the TAMIYA MF01X chassis, replacing the flexible plastic plate with a more rigid aluminium unit for improved mounting stability.

Compatibility and role: made to work with MF01X chassis formats as the main motor mounting surface. The increase in rigidity reduces shaft deflection and helps sustain reliable gear mesh during demanding road sessions.

Installation notes: fits into the motor bay using the existing mounting points on the chassis. Installation typically requires removal of the original plate, aligning the aluminium unit to the same fixings, and reusing the original fasteners with standard hobby tools.

Tuning considerations: this plate is useful when upgrading to higher torque motors or when you want less flex under load. The aluminium construction also contributes to passive heat spread away from the motor area compared with standard plastic plates.
