Aluminium rear hex for T3-01

This aluminium rear wheel hex pair is intended for the TAMIYA T3-01 Dancing Rider chassis and fits hubs that use a 6mm hex. Offered as an aftermarket replacement by GPM, the set provides a direct-fit aluminium interface for rear wheel mounting tasks.

The component is aimed at maintenance and light tuning: it replaces degraded stock hexes and supplies a repeatable metal contact between wheel and axle. Aluminium construction helps maintain dimensional stability during frequent wheel swaps and can improve consistency of wheel seating compared to original parts. This is an RC upgrade component, not meant for road vehicle use.

Installation is simple on T3-01 hubs designed for a 6mm hex; confirm full seating and check wheel alignment after mounting. For setup, examine concentricity and repeatability when installing tyres to the rear assembly.

Will this work on modified T3-01 hubs?

If your rear hubs accept a 6mm hex, this set will fit. For hubs with modifications verify dimensions before fitting to avoid interference.

Is there a risk of corrosion?

Standard aluminium alloys resist corrosion under normal RC use, but avoid prolonged exposure to saltwater and clean after wet runs to extend service life.

Do I need new wheel nuts?

Existing wheel nuts usually work if they match the axle thread and allow proper clamping. Check for correct thread engagement after fitting the aluminium hex.
