TA-01 C-Hub Upgrade Overview

These red aluminum C-hubs replace the factory plastic units on the Tamiya TA-01, providing a firmer mount for the steering pivot and helping keep the front geometry stable under load. They are aimed at modelers who maintain and tune TA-01 cars.

Installation is a simple swap: take off the stock hubs from the steering knuckles, fit the aluminum pieces in the same positions, and check for any interference with the wheel hub or suspension travel. After installation, inspect and adjust toe and camber as required since the stiffer hubs can affect alignment characteristics.

Functionally, the aluminum hubs reduce flex where the steering link attaches and offer a metal contact surface that resists wear better than plastic. That makes setup changes more repeatable when experimenting with steering link lengths or shock rates.
