Front tower: fit and benefits

This aluminium front shock tower is an aftermarket part intended to bolt straight onto Tamiya TA01 and TA02 touring chassis. It replaces the original top mount and provides a solid anchor point for shocks and upper suspension links, which helps make setup adjustments more consistent.

The tower fits the same factory screw locations found on TA01/TA02 variants, allowing an easy swap without altering the chassis. The light blue anodized surface is decorative and provides extra resistance to everyday abrasion from handling and adjustments.

For tuning the tower gives a rigid datum for changing shock angle, spring preload and link geometry so you can reproduce incremental setup changes between sessions. Treat it as a precision mounting item when balancing damping and handling on 1/10 scale cars.
