This precision-machined aluminum front shock tower fits Tamiya TA01 and TA02 chassis and provides a solid mounting surface for the front shocks and related suspension links to minimise deformation under load.

Fitting is straightforward to the TA01/TA02 front bulkhead using the existing shock hole layout. Verify that shock shafts and camber link locations line up before fully tightening fasteners to retain the designed suspension geometry.

As a durable upgrade over stock plastic towers, the aluminum part reduces flex and improves repeatable setup across multiple runs. The black anodized coating helps guard against corrosion during normal outdoor practice.

How does this aluminium tower last longer than the stock plastic piece?

Aluminum resists creeping and wear better than injection-moulded plastic, so the mounting holes and shock mounts retain their shape over time, reducing play and the need for frequent replacement.

Is the anodise sufficient for coastal locations?

Black anodizing improves corrosion resistance, but in harsh coastal environments additional maintenance and rinsing after exposure will help prevent salt-related issues.

Will repeated impacts cause mounting deformation?

The aluminium tower is more impact resistant than many plastics, though extreme impacts may still bend or dent the part; inspect after heavy crashes and replace if mounting integrity is compromised.
