This machined aluminium front shock tower is an aftermarket replacement for Tamiya TA01 and TA02 chassis. Finished in gun metal, it provides a more rigid anchor for the front suspension compared to the original plastic tower.
Fitment follows the stock mounting points on the TA01/TA02 and uses the existing fixings. During installation, check that shock eyelets, steering linkages, and full travel clearance are all correctly aligned to avoid binding.
As a tuning aid, an aluminium tower cuts top-end flex at the shock mount, helping to stabilise front-end response so spring and damper changes show more predictably on-track or during bench setup.
