Overview: carbon plates for the TA02 family

This carbon plate kit fits 1/10-scale Tamiya TA02 and TA02SW touring chassis and is listed under model JR-TA2CK-CF. The components are carbon fiber plates meant to supplement or replace key plastic pieces to raise chassis rigidity and support finer handling adjustments.

The product is intended for hobbyist chassis tuning and uses the TA02-series mounting points wherever possible. Installation normally reuses the stock fastener pattern so original serviceability is preserved.

Adding carbon panels alters how the chassis flexes through corners and under load, often yielding a firmer center section that can sharpen steering and reduce unwanted roll when used with tuned springs and dampers. Consider this set as a tuning aid rather than a replacement for suspension changes.

Having purchased multiple items from these guys I couldn't be more happier to carry on purchasing parts for my RC cars.
These plates are made from standard RC-grade carbon fiber; they improve stiffness but can still crack under high-impact crashes, so handle with normal hobby care.
Minimal prep is usually needed. Inspect mounting holes and clean any mold release; a light deburr of screw holes may help ensure a flush fit.
They are designed around standard TA02 layouts but will often work alongside compatible aftermarket components if mounting points line up; always check clearances first.
They can influence handling enough to affect lap times when combined with proper setup, but results depend on track, driver, and complementary tuning choices.
