Aluminium upgrade for Tamiya touring chassis

This aluminium suspension mount is offered as a replacement for the Tamiya TA05-R, TRF415 and TRF-416 series. It is supplied as the 1XA aluminium mount intended to take the place of the original component while keeping factory mounting points.

The mount delivers a more rigid seating for suspension arms and linkages compared with nonmetal parts, helping to reduce flex at the attachment point. Fitting normally requires removing the original mount, transferring any existing bushings and screws, and checking that the orientation matches the chassis layout.

When used for setup the mount acts as a reliable datum for suspension geometry changes, aiding repeatable ride height and arm angle settings. Always mock-assemble to confirm clearance around drive shafts and shock towers prior to final tightening.
