Aftermarket rear tower for TA08 PRO

This carbon fibre rear shock tower is an aftermarket option built for the TAMIYA TA08 PRO platform and locates at the rear gearbox top near the shocks. It replaces the standard plastic tower to deliver a stiffer, lighter upper shock mount for 1/10 scale models.

Extra mounting holes on the tower allow changing the shock upper pivot, giving you a range of shock angles and leverage settings. Those choices help balance rear grip and compliance when refining handling for different surfaces.

Installation is done at the rear gearbox top using the same mounting footprint as the original part. Check screw lengths, thread engagement and shock alignment after fitting to ensure full travel and correct geometry.

Product was as described. Perfect fitment.
Yes, it is intended for the stock TA08 PRO rear gearbox area, but you should confirm screw sizes and clearance before tightening.
Expect reduced flex at the shock upper mount and crisper rear response. Using different pivot holes alters roll and mid-corner balance to suit your setup.
Usually the factory screws work, but check length and engagement. If hardware is supplied, match thread type and length to avoid stripping.
