Preload-adjustable aluminium shocks for TB04

This aftermarket front and rear damper suits the TAMIYA TB04 platform and carries the model number TB4055F/R. The aluminium body and threaded spring collar let you alter spring preload quickly without disassembling the shock, ideal for setup work and fine tuning scale suspension behaviour.

Installation follows standard TB-04 practice: remove the stock dampers, fit the replacement units into the original shock towers and lower mounts, and swap pin positions if required. There is no need to alter electronics or drivetrain components because these are scale suspension parts for RC use.

Use the threaded collar to adjust preload and refine ride height and initial spring rate, then check suspension geometry and toe on both axles. Combine preload changes with your usual shock oil and spring selection to get consistent handling results.

Maintain the dampers by keeping threads free from dirt, checking that springs remain correctly seated, and inspecting mounting pins and retainers for wear.
