Precision aluminium rear mount for TB04

This precision aluminium rear shock tower is supplied for the TAMIYA TB04 chassis under the TB4030 identifier. It replaces the stock rear shock mount with a metal alternative aimed at hobbyists focused on consistent setup and repeatable measurements.

The tower's role is to act as a rigid mounting location for rear shocks and the upper link attachments. On a TB04 chassis it helps preserve rear geometry under load so you can compare shock settings and arm positions with fewer variables.

Installation is simple for those familiar with TB04 service: the tower installs in place of the original rear shock mount and uses the existing holes and fixings. Because it is an aluminium aftermarket component, verify alignment and threads during fitting and position the shocks correctly before fully tightening.

Tuning application: use this part as a structural reference when testing spring rates, shock positions, or arm geometry so setup choices can be evaluated consistently.

It is produced for the TB04 platform and intended to be a direct aftermarket replacement for the TB04 rear shock tower mounting area.
In most cases you can reuse the original chassis fasteners, but check that they engage correctly in the aluminium threads and replace any damaged hardware.
By reducing flex at the shock mount, the tower provides a consistent baseline for comparing different shock and spring setups during testing sessions.
