TB04 front damper mounting upgrade

This aluminium front damper mount is an aftermarket component built for the Tamiya TB04 chassis, identified as model TB4028. It substitutes the original plastic mounting point to deliver a firmer connection for the front shocks on touring car builds.

Performance role: the mount secures the front dampers and carries the loads from the shock assemblies into the front bulkhead or tower. Replacing a flexible mount with aluminium lowers deflection at the damper base, which supports more consistent damper angles during suspension travel and while making preload, damping or ride-height adjustments.

Installation guidance: intended for the TB04 front damper layout, the part uses existing chassis screws and shock hardware. Remove the factory mount, fit the aluminium piece, torque screws evenly and confirm damper alignment and free travel before track use.
