Hardened replacement gear for TL-01

This aftermarket STL14234T main gear is manufactured in hardened #45 steel and supplied as a single unit to replace the main gear in Tamiya TL-01 scale cars. The larger side carries 34 teeth and the smaller side 24 teeth for the common TL-01 drivetrain layout.

The primary role of this gear is to transmit drive torque from the gearbox into the rest of the drivetrain. Before installation inspect the motor pinion and gearbox bearings for wear, and confirm there is no damage to mating gears.

Installation steps: remove the gearbox cover, retain any shims or spacers, fit the replacement gear onto the shaft with correct orientation, then set backlash and verify smooth rotation under manual and powered checks. Typical TL-01 service items are sufficient for fitment.
