This aluminium rear upper suspension arm is made as a scale replacement for the TAMIYA TL-01, GF-01 and WR-02 chassis. Supplied in a black finish, it aims to replace the original plastic arm with a stiffer component that sits above the hub carrier in the rear suspension layout.
The upgraded arm helps maintain wheel alignment, limits unwanted camber change and influences roll-center behaviour within the rear link geometry. Using aluminium in place of plastic reduces flex at the mounting points and gives a more consistent suspension response when the vehicle is loaded or in repeated testing.
Fitting the part normally requires removal of the rear hub carriers and careful replacement of the upper arm while checking ball-stud seating and pivot clearances. Ensure the mounting holes accept the ball studs without binding and confirm full, unobstructed articulation across the suspension travel. Regular inspection of threads, fasteners and joint movement is recommended for longevity.
