Machined centre gearbox for tractor rigs

This CNC-machined aluminium centre gearbox provides a metal replacement shell to stiffen the enclosure on double-shaft tractor truck drivetrains. It is built to shield internal gears and improve heat transfer from the gearbox into surrounding airflow, without implying use on full-size vehicles.

Constructed from Aluminium 6061 T6 using multi-axis CNC machining, the casing is intended to withstand wear and promote heat fanning around the gearset. The complex 3D machining offers increased mechanical protection over the stock plastic housing.

Designed to fit double-shaft truck drivetrains where a central gearbox contains drive gears; the component is intended to enhance drivetrain robustness and thermal management rather than guarantee unspecified speed or torque gains.

The supplied kit contains mounting hardware to attach the casing; when replacing the factory housing, use the included screws to preserve original mounting points.
