This RC-scale aluminium rear gear box is a CNC-machined replacement housing made for TAMIYA tractor truck platforms, offered as a 14 pcs set TRU013. Cut from 6061 T6 aluminium, the shell gives better dimensional control than original plastic parts and helps conduct heat away from drivetrain components.

The profile accepts both single and double shaft setups used in tractor truck models, with tight machining tolerances to match related original components for a snug fit. Hardware is included for assembly: 3x14 Stainless Steel Button Head Screw - 8 pcs, and 3x20 Stainless Steel Button Head Screw - 4 pcs.

Use this metal housing when you want a robust rear casing to steady driveline mounts and handle thermal load on extended runs; it is an aftermarket RC part only and not suitable for road vehicles.
