This aftermarket lower arm is produced for the TAMIYA TT01 chassis as a like-for-like aluminium replacement for the original plastic arm. The alloy construction gives improved rigidity while retaining the TT-01 factory mounting points.
Function: the aluminium arm reduces unwanted movement at the front suspension pickup, helps maintain camber and toe during impacts, and provides a firmer platform for tuning with the supplied shims and collars. It is useful for routine maintenance or when refreshing worn suspension parts.
Installation advice: remove the stock arm using standard hobby tools, reuse any serviceable fasteners, attach the new arm to the factory ball studs and hubs, then fine-tune endplay and steering geometry using the included collars and shims. Confirm that there is no binding and that threads are fully engaged before first use.
Maintenance suggestions: after any crash check the arm for bends or damage, keep pivot areas clean and lightly greased if that fits your maintenance practice, and use the shims to address small alignment differences between sides.
