Aluminium ball diff tailored for TT-01

This aluminium ball differential fits Tamiya TT-01 and TT-01 TYPE E chassis, replacing the original plastic case with a stiffer machined aluminium housing. The improved rigidity helps stabilise the ball pack and refines torque transfer during cornering on smooth surfaces.

Installation is intended as a drop-in swap: prepare mating surfaces, transfer the existing ball and spring assembly or use supplied parts if provided, then trial-fit with spur and gearbox to check clearances. Tighten screws evenly and avoid excessive torque to prevent distorting the aluminium shell.

For tuning, adjust preload and internal friction to suit pavement or short-track conditions. Apply suitable light grease or diff oil and check 走珠軸承 and gear engagement at regular intervals to prevent unexpected handling changes.
