This middle shaft joint kit is manufactured for the Tamiya TT01 / TT-01 chassis and serves as a direct aluminum replacement for the factory plastic part. The unit is CNC-machined from aluminum alloy and carries a blue finish for a neat appearance.

Intended only for the TT01 family, double-check your car uses the TT01 / TT-01 chassis before ordering. It replaces the stock middle joint where the central shaft connects to adjacent gears within the TT-01 drivetrain layout.

Fitting is simple: remove the existing middle joint, seat the alloy piece into the same interface, then confirm correct alignment and unhindered rotation of the centre shaft and nearby gears. After installation run the drivetrain by hand to ensure there is no binding.

As an upgrade component, the aluminum joint may reduce coupling flex relative to plastic, altering how the drivetrain transmits load and torque. Consider this change as part of broader tuning work on gearbox alignment and shaft runout for best results.
