Precision steering link for TT-02

This alloy steering kit is an aftermarket replacement intended for the Tamiya TT-02 chassis and listed as model TT2048. It replaces the factory plastic steering links with metal parts to limit flex and slow component wear during regular use. The set is supplied as a single repair or tuning package for hobby cars.

Installation normally involves removing the original plastic pieces from the front knuckles and servo horn, transferring any compatible ball studs or hardware, and fitting the alloy items. A basic front-end teardown is required; always test the fit and clearances before locking hardware down to avoid binding. This item is meant for scale RC models only.

The purpose of the upgrade is to firm up steering response and improve durability rather than to change suspension geometry. Users fitting alloy steering notice more consistent input feel on the track, but should monitor servo current and steering movement for any signs of binding after fitment.

Compare the knuckle and servo horn mounting points on your TT-02 to the kit components; if they match the stock layout the parts should fit.
No major geometry change is expected; the kit stiffens the linkage to change feel, not suspension geometry.
Check for smooth travel and measure servo draw under load; minor servo horn or end point adjustments may be needed for optimal operation.
