This 8pcs ring and bevel gear set is an aftermarket spare made for Tamiya TT02 and TT02B chassis. Supplied as model TT2100, the set replaces factory plastic gearing with steel components for the differential and intermediate drive locations common to TT02 designs. The note here is limited to hobby RC use and maintenance replacement.

Compatibility is targeted at the TT02 platform; double-check your gearbox and differential housing dimensions before final fitment. Steel gears provide superior wear resistance to stock plastic gears but demand correct backlash and good bearing condition to avoid accelerated wear or rough running.

Fitting advice: make sure carriers and bearings are free from grit, use the correct shims or preset spacers to establish backlash, and rotate the gear assembly slowly to check for smooth concentric movement before running on battery. Apply a small amount of grease to bevel faces during the first runs.
