TT-02 Type-S: aluminum upper arm mounting upgrade

This aluminum upper arm mount set is made for the TAMIYA TT-02 Type-S chassis and is identified as model JR-TT2S01-LB. It replaces the original plastic mounting points to deliver a firmer connection for the suspension arms, reducing localized flex and helping the suspension react more uniformly during high load driving or when refining setups on the track.

Fitting on a TT-02 Type-S is a direct swap in most cases: remove the stock upper arm mounts, position the aluminum pieces into the existing chassis holes, then reinstall the arms and hardware. Check alignment and tighten evenly to avoid introducing twist or preloading any bearings. This is an aftermarket tuning part and does not alter the chassis layout beyond the mounts.

From a setup perspective, the aluminum mounts increase pivot stiffness and consistency. That tends to preserve camber and toe under cornering forces and can make steering inputs feel crisper; however, expect a firmer transfer of vibration compared with softer stock parts. Use the set when you need tighter repeatability between runs.
