This rear upper tie rod is an aftermarket upgrade for the Tamiya TT02B platform, combining a resilient spring steel mid section with plastic ball ends to mate with existing suspension points while limiting additional mass.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the original rear upper rod and refit this unit to the same bulkhead and suspension mount locations. Once installed, recheck rear toe and ensure the suspension travels freely; minor toe fine tuning can be done by turning the adjustable section if your chassis has that feature.

As a tuning step this rod gives a firmer connection compared to standard plastic links, helping to hold rear toe during heavy braking and lateral loads on 1/10 touring rigs. Use it either as a direct replacement or as part of progressive handling upgrades.
