This alloy battery holder plate is an RC-scale upgrade designed for the Tamiya TT02 platform, adding an integrated finned surface to aid passive cooling of the battery pack during runs.
The plate is profiled to the TT02 battery bay and replaces the OEM plastic tray with a stiffer aluminium component that uses the existing chassis fixings. It keeps the battery in the original location and supports standard pack formats used on these kits.
Fitment involves removing the stock tray and mounting the alloy plate with the existing screw points. Ensure the pack sits squarely and tighten hardware carefully to prevent strain on the chassis or battery. The heat sink area provides added surface area to help dissipate heat when refining pack position or body airflow.
