This machined alloy centre main shaft is supplied as 1 pcs for use in Tamiya TT02 and TT02B transmissions. It serves as a direct replacement for worn or damaged main shafts during routine servicing or when tuning driveline behaviour.

When installed in the central gearbox, the shaft transmits torque from the motor and spur gear train to the following gear stages; during fitment check shaft orientation, assess bearing condition, and set endplay to prevent binding under load. Always reuse the original screws and retainers rather than improvising with unspecified fasteners.

Swapping a bent or worn shaft restores proper concentricity and lowers driveline vibration, which helps maintain steady power delivery and reduces premature wear on gears and bearings. This is an aftermarket spare, not a modification to chassis geometry or suspension settings.
