Tuning-focused aluminum wheel hub adapters

These aluminium wheel hub adapters are sold as a pair, finished in gun metal, and are made to fit Tamiya Thunder Shot, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher models. The aftermarket adapter sits between the wheel hex and the axle mounting surface to help correct wheel seating and improve consistency during setup changes.

They are useful when adjusting wheel fit clearance or when you need uniform wheel seating after swapping rims or tyres. The part is intended to help tuning for better alignment and repeatability; it does not change suspension geometry or drivetrain ratios.

Fitting takes only basic workshop steps: remove the wheel, replace the original hub adapter or spacer with the supplied aluminium piece, then refit and secure the wheel. Typical wheel/hex assemblies do not require additional machining, but always confirm thread engagement and clearance before running the model.

Construction and pack details: machined aluminum, gun metal finish, 2pcs per pack, for RC applications. The set is listed under model JR-TFD11-GU for identification.

Great selection of parts available, super fast delivery to here in the UK in less than 5 days! Highly recommended.
By standardizing wheel seating and reducing play at the mating surfaces, the adapter improves repeatable steering feel and makes setup changes more predictable. It refines alignment without altering suspension geometry.
Yes. They are designed to correct seating differences that can occur when fitting alternative rims or tyre profiles, helping maintain consistent offset and clearance.
The adapter targets wheel seating and alignment; it does not directly alter suspension geometry, so any corner balance or camber changes would be indirect and minimal.
