This front and rear adjustable damper pair upgrades the Tamiya Wild Willy 2 WR-02 with machined aluminium bodies while retaining a plastic ball top for ball-stud fitment. The design maintains compatibility with the WR-02 shock towers and end caps for a straightforward swap.
Supplied as a single pair, these dampers are intended for RC-scale suspension tuning and straightforward replacement of the stock plastic housings. They allow you to set ride height, change spring preload, and gain a more rigid mounting point for repeatable handling on road and light off-road sections.
Installation is aimed at hobbyists comfortable with WR-02 servicing: take off the factory shocks, move over springs and internal components if needed, and secure the aluminium bodies with the original mounting hardware and ball studs. There is no implication that electronics or drivetrain parts need alteration.
