This machined aluminum shock tower is an aftermarket upgrade made for the Tamiya WR01 and WT01 chassis. Delivered as one black anodized unit engraved JR-WR101-BK, it replaces the standard lower shock mount area to stiffen the suspension mounting on either axle.

Installed as a hop-up, the alloy tower reduces local flex and creates a firmer anchor for shock lower mounts compared to original plastic parts. The result is a crisper steering response and reduced chassis movement under load, especially noticeable with high-rate springs or heavier shock fluids.
