This upgrade replaces stock plastic uprights on Tamiya WR02, DT03T and Blitzer Beetle with machined aluminum pieces to reduce flex at the steering knuckle and improve durability under repetitive loads. The firmer construction helps maintain consistent steering geometry during rough runs and repeated impacts.
Fitting follows the normal upright replacement steps: remove the wheel hub assembly, swap in the new uprights using existing bearings and retaining hardware, then check alignment and steering movement. No specialized tools are required beyond standard hex drivers and pliers common to Tamiya maintenance.
From a durability standpoint, these uprights are suited to drivers who push their rigs hard or frequently run on abrasive surfaces. Pairing with tougher bushings and periodic hardware checks will maximize longevity.
